Only 30 players scored more goals than Tatar over the past 3 seasons yet you say:

The problem I see is he Wings should not have allowed themselves to be Ina situation where they needed Tatar this much given his production and now cost.


Which teams wouldn't want a top line goal scorer at that price?

why is it called "hot stove?" Was it just stolen from baseball? Because, it kind of makes sense for baseball, a bunch of baseball fans huddled round the wood stove in the middle of winter trying to stay warm talking about baseball. But unless hockey fans go to the south pole in the summer, there is no need to be huddled around a hot stove? In fact, we shouldn't be huddled at all, we should be floating on a raft in the pool with a cold beverage.

Tatar got a good salary but all in all it was market value. I believe he played a lot of third line so those stats are pretty decent. I like the guy!
